History of Bikeboard Inc.

Since early 2008, Bikeboard‘s goal has been to create personal transportation which is eco-friendly, durable, compact, and fun. Always innovative and dynamic, the company began its operation with the design and sales of multi-seasonal sports equipment in 2006. It has since transformed into a creator and distributor of high-tech electric transportation. The first E-Bikeboard was invented in 2005 by Walter Egli, an electrical engineer who holds a degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
Today, the E-Bikeboard is assembled in the United States from where it is distributed and sold worldwide. Moving Bikeboard’s operations to Arizona allowed for more flexibility and a higher quality product, in addition to creating new jobs and boosting the economy in a depressed market. Consequently, the company has seen significant growth in a very short period of time. E-Bikeboards are sold to both individuals and organizations in 17 countries.
The company is very active in promoting eco-friendly transportation and is constantly developing new procedures and policies to improve current products and create new ones. The E-Bikeboard is currently in its fourth generation, which features extensive changes from the third generation. Additionally, the newest E-Bikeboard model, the G1000, is equipped with hardware and accessories for carrying golf clubs.
The Bikeboard team is made up of highly qualified people in all areas of engineering, production, assembly, sales, and management. Learn more about the Bikeboard team here.
